Released in November 2007 is the final evolution of the Loose Change theme in this two hour long presentation of facts and evidence. To be honest with you, I couldn't sit through the whole thing. Which is likely because I've already seen 50 bajillion movies on the subject so there was nothing new there for me personally. This was the entrenched condition of mass media 28 years ago and there's no reason to naively believe that anything was done to address or correct this penchant for skewing visual media in the most spectacular way. Picture stories aren't necessarily all that true, but who ever checks the facts for themselves? While the program uses the war in Viet Nam to make its point, it's self-evident that this applies to all subjects in the mass media. Today more than ever before the state of credibility in mass media is in its death throes. Strangely, the production is narrated by Charleton Heston who does a great job of getting the message across. Historical Viet Nam footage and reporting is important and interesting too.

We loved this. It's brilliant, informative and possibly the longest music video ever made. The filmaker has taken some of the best footage of audio and video clips and references of real historical value and superimposed them on top of music. It's different and really quite entertaining. It will also impart a great deal of information to the viewer. As the length of the film is staggering for most, it can easily be watched in two separate sittings. The first two hours are specifically on the topic of war and shouldn't be missed. The remaining hour and a half should perhaps have been left for a separate film but they are related to war. The focus is on the 1960's antiwar and black equality movement. It is packed with history and insight into the sadly continuing struggles of black Americans who are still targeted by the government, treated with violence and too often denied the simple promises of our Constitution. If you're going to kill three hours sitting in front of a screen you might as well learn something and walk away better off for the experience. This movie does that.

See what the reality of drug trials is about and in this case what happens when things go wrong. The film is an investigation into the circumstances of an infamous drug trial that recently took place in London which nearly killed Ryan Wilson. He managed to survive what amounted to having his body flushed with Drano, but just barely. His hands and feet didn't quite make it. Drug developers do what they do to get rich and their investors fund them hoping to get richer. No one in the process folks, is there wanting to selflessly find ways to help human beings recover from diseases. It's to find out, "What happens if we give them this stuff?" Testing on people is done as if we owe it to them, and we don't. We need to get a clue that they aren't in this for us, they're in it to make mega bucks. It's time to leave the naivety back in the play pen and start watching out for these people.
