Firefox: I use Firefox specifically because of the wide range of plug-ins available. If you have Firefox, get the plug-in called "Launchy". (We don't name them, we just use them). Once you have Launchy installed, you'll be able to right click on media files anywhere online, scroll down to Launchy, and choose the app you want to play the file. It will open the app and begin playing it without making any changes in your browser.
If you have Firefox and don't have or want Launchy you can either:
·click on the mp3 link which will open on a blank page, and play the mp3. It takes a few seconds for it to load before playing, so expect that.
·right click the link and choose "Copy Link Location", which will paste the actual web address of the mp3 to your clipboard. Open your media player manually (Winamp or Windows Media Player for example) and go to File, Play URL. A box will open up requesting a web address which you can then right click, and choose "Paste" (or Ctrl-V) to enter the address into the box.
Internet Explorer:
Choose one of the following ways to play an mp3 file-
·click on the mp3 link which will open on a blank page, and play the mp3. It takes a few seconds for it to load before playing, so expect that.
·right click the link and choose "Copy Shortcut", which will paste the actual web address of the mp3 to your clipboard. Open your media player manually (Winamp or Windows Media Player for example) and go to File, Play URL. A box will open up requesting a web address which you can then right click, and choose "Paste" (or Ctrl-V) to enter the address into the box.
If you were not helped, we're sorry!
If you'd care to tell us where we failed,
maybe we can fix it. Thanks.
