It's very scary but the bottom line is, as long as America remains asleep at the switch, as long as Americans struggle against the reality that we're in a heap of trouble, as long as truth is viciously attacked and honesty is seen as a threat, then this trend will not be going away any time soon. In fact it will increase and spread and the internet will become a smaller and smaller place, with less information, and less access to voices that are not towing the official line.
That's not freedom, that's control. If this were really a free country, everyone could have a voice. Everyone no longer does. They're doing the internet like they've done everything else, hacking away at it in little steps, a little at a time so that it's hard to see. But sometimes they're not so graceful about it, and they do things to people that are blatantly wrong.
They get away with it because they are the law. That's what happens when tyranny strikes, it becomes legal for the government to commit any crimes it chooses, but you better not step out of line. Because with or without proof, they decide who's okay and who isn't and you don't get an opinion. You'd better agree with them too, or you'll be next. That's our new Amerika.
There are reasons other than overt censorship that can make media disappear, sometimes movies just go away. It happens. But when droves of important movies vanish into thin air all at once, it's not random. The claim is copyright infringement, I think that's just the excuse they're using to pull the truth out of public access. Because the truth changes everything, and they can't have that.
It is not a copyright issue when media is used for educational purposes, and that's what this site is. That's what it's all about. I don't make a penny doing this, it's all about helping people get informed. I do the footwork of digging through hundreds and hundreds of movies and finding the ones that are worth your time. Your time is precious, it's irreplaceable and you can waste a lot of time trying to find something worth viewing at Google if you're just randomly clicking this movie and that movie only to find out they're stupid or slanted or dull as a door knob. Just because it's out there doesn't mean it's worth watching.
Every movie on this site is one that I believe is important. It may be political, historical, health related, or any subject at all but I watch every one of them myself and when I find one that has something to say that isn't going to be told through corporate media, that affects our lives, sheds more light on dark subjects, that presents sane, credible, responsible perspectives that are contrary to the official take on things, I put them up here for you. I bring them here, give them a description (or a rant) and make them available for your discretion, to check them out or not. It's about you. It's about you finding out more about things that are important or interesting to you. It's about this place being a resource that lets you get to it without wasting time or coming up empty handed, or ending up watching something that in the end wasn't worth sitting through.
I can't expect every movie on this site to appeal to every single person who comes here, but I can say this. I know that the more subjects I become familiar with, the more perspectives I become aware of, the more diverse information and facts I learn, the more I am able to put together the big picture in my own mind. Im more able to connect the dots, find the verification from unrelated sources that have earned my respect, and it makes me a heck of a lot harder to bullshit. It brings into focus who I am, where I stand, what my values are and what I believe in and the sharper my focus becomes, the more I am empowered in this life. It feels fabulous to not be a sock puppet, suckling the daily propaganda from the warm, fuzzy corporate/CIA media that says, go to sleep, everything is all right. I'm using my brain, the God given gray matter we all came into this world with, that's what it's there for. And using it feels good, much better than being obliviously ignorant feels.
The truth shall make you angry as hell. And that's what it may take to force this out of control nightmare to slow down. It can't be stopped unless enough people in our country wake up and smell the tyranny, but many people never have a chance to encounter anything like the information and resources on this website. They're screwed and clueless and no wonder they're too afraid to give things much thought.
